Joseph F. Conway , , , President & Chief Executive Officer

Joseph F. Conway was appointed President & Chief Executive Officer in June 2010. Mr. Conway has nearly 30 years of mining and financial industry experience. He was most recently President & CEO of IAMGOLD Corporation, having grown it from a $50 million joint venture company to a $6 billion leading intermediate gold producer. Mr. Conway has a B.Sc. from Memorial University of Newfoundland (1981), and an MBA from Dalhousie University (1987). He was a mine and exploration geologist from 1981 to 1985. After completing his MBA in 1987, he joined Walwyn Stodgell Cochran and Murray as a stock analyst from 1987 to 1989. From 1989 to 1995, he was a Vice President and Director with Nesbitt Burns, a Canadian investment dealer. From September 1995 to January 2003, Mr. Conway was President, CEO and Director of Repadre Capital Corporation.

Renaud Adams , , , Chief Operating Officer

Renaud Adams was appointed Chief Operating Officer in October 2011. Mr. Adams has over 15 years of mining industry experience. Mr. Adams was previously Senior Vice President, Operations Americas for IAMGOLD Corporation, where he oversaw three operating mines producing approximately four hundred thousand ounces of gold and five million kilograms of niobium annually. Mr. Adams was General Manager of the Rosebel Gold Mine in Suriname from 2007 to 2010. In 2000, Mr. Adams joined Breakwater Resources where he was Mine Manager & Mill Superintendent until 2004, and then Vice President & General Manager until 2007. He was General Manager of the El Toqui Mine in Chile and then the El Mochito Mine in Honduras, both unionized, underground, 1,600 to 2,000 tonne per day operations. In 1999 Mr. Adams joined Cambior Inc. first as Senior Metallurgist, Project and Development and then Plant Superintendent and Acting Site Manager. He was a Senior Metallurgist from 1995 to 1998 and from 1998 to 1999 was General Superintendent & Acting Site Manager for Lyon Lake Mines. Mr. Adams has a Mining & Mineral Processing engineering degree from Laval University (1995).

David Blaiklock , , , Chief Financial Officer

Appointed Chief Financial Officer of Mala Noche on July 6, 2009, Mr. Blaiklock is a Chartered Accountant with 20 years public company experience in a senior financial role. As Vice President and Corporate Controller of Intrawest Corporation, a large multinational owner, developer and operator of mountain destination resorts from 1997-2008, Mr. Blaiklock was involved with all aspects of running the financial operations of a growth-oriented and acquisition-focused public company. Previously, he was Corporate Controller of a number of public and private companies, primarily involved in real estate development. He graduated with a B.A. (Honours) degree from the University of Sheffield and received his designation as a Chartered Accountant (England & Wales) in 1979 and British Columbia in 1981 while working with the international accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche.

Tamara Brown , , , Vice President, Investor Relations

Tamara Brown was appointed Vice President of Investor Relations of the Company on June 1, 2010. From April 2009 to April 2010, Ms. Brown was Director of Investor Relations for IAMGOLD Corporation, a leading intermediate gold producer with international operations. Ms. Brown was responsible for all aspects of Investor Relations including being a member of the disclosure committee. Previously she was an Investor Relations consultant for several junior exploration companies, Partner of a boutique investment banking firm and a professional engineer in the mining industry. She graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Curtin University in Australia and has completed the Chartered Business Valuator course at York University.

H. Maura Lendon , , , Vice President, Chief General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

H. Maura Lendon was appointed Vice President, Chief General Counsel and Corporate Secretary in March 2012. Ms. Lendon brings over 20 years of experience both in-house and in private practice in the areas of international business including mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, corporate governance and advocacy. Previously, she was Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary for HudBay Minerals Inc., and prior to that was Chief Counsel Canada, Chief Privacy Officer – Canada for global telecommunications company AT&T. Ms. Lendon holds a Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School, a Master of Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business and a Bachelor of Laws from University of Western Ontario. Ms. Lendon has been a member of the Ontario Bar since 1990.

David Sandison , , , Vice President, Corporate Development

David Sandison was appointed Vice President, Corporate Development in October, 2010. Mr. Sandison brings over 25 years of mining industry experience specializing in Corporate M&A and General Management. Since 1984 he held increasingly responsible positions within the Noranda Group of Companies and successors Falconbridge and Xstrata. David was appointed Vice President, Potash Marketing for Noranda in 1993 and later served as Executive Vice President of Noranda Chile in Santiago between 1998 and 2001. Between 2005 and 2006 he was Vice President, Novicourt and served as Director, Corporate Development for Xstrata Zinc Canada until 2008. Most recently he was Vice President, Corporate Development with a private African mining investor, Clarity Capital. David has extensive international experience in North and South America. He earned an MBA from Queens University, and a B.A.Sc. in Geological Engineering from the University of Toronto.

Gabriel Voicu , , , Vice President, Geology and Exploration

Gabriel Voicu was appointed Vice President, Geology and Exploration in November, 2012. Mr. Voicu brings 25 years of mineral deposit exploration and mining experience including holding senior technical and exploration positions with a number of intermediate gold producers. Much of his experience was gained in the Americas in such countries as Suriname, Guyana and Canada and he also worked for 9 years in Romania. Mr. Voicu holds a PhD in Mineral Resources from the Université du Québec à Montréal, and a BSc from the University of Bucharest, Romania. Mr. Voicu is also an Adjunct Professor of Economic Geology with the Université du Québec à Montréal.
